"国内用户恐怕很少能真诚、准确地说出自己的想法" this is the same situation here, since people tend to be "polite" and they don't want themselves to be the ones who provide "silly" answers. That's why the interview skill and interview question design are so important to pull out the true insights from users.
Also, I think an informative user session should cover some tasks for user to complete, such as card sorting exercise, paper and pencil prototyping, or clickable PDFs. Therefore, we, the moderator could observe the interactions between users and tasks. Only Q&A interviews and online surveys would not enough to pull out meaningful results from users.

The significance of user study ：1.What is the users’ need and What is the users wants to。
2.Users have what kind of behavior and why have such kind of behavior。
